Dr. Shadmand and his Ph.D. students Amin Yousefzadeh Fard and Ahmad Khan participated in 2019 PV Systems Symposium organized by Sandia National Laboratories and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This three-day workshop examined the technical challenges and opportunities related to PV Systems and their Grid Integration.
Research opportunities in the area of grid forming inverters, microgrids, cyber security, and energy storage grid integration were discussed.
