Anas Karaki

Anas Karaki received the B.S degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ), Doha, Qatar, in 2016 and the Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University (TAMU), College Station, TX, USA, in 2020. He was an IPEG research associate from August 2020 to August 2021.

His research interests include microgrids, power electronics, parallel-inverter operation, power-sharing between inverter-based grids, droop control, islanding detection, and frequency restoration.

Brevann Nun

Brevann Nun was born in Geneva, NE in 1997. He received his B.Sc. and M.S. Degrees in Electrical Engineering in December 2019 and May 2021 from Kansas State University. He joined IPEG (formerly PEAS Research Group) in September 2019 and his interests include power electronics and renewable energy systems. Brevann has joined Raytheon Technologies as of June 2021.

Mitchell Easley

Mitchell Easley was born in Shawnee, KS in 1995. He received his B.Sc. and M.S. Degrees in Electrical Engineering in May 2018 and August 2020 at Kansas State University. He has joined IPEG (former PEAS Research Group) in December 2017. He was an intern at ABB Corporate Research Center in the summer of 2019. He has joined Raytheon Technologies in August 2020.

His research interests are power electronics and model predictive control.

Zhen Zhang

Zhen Zhang was born in 1998 and raised in both China and Canada. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University in May of 2019. Currently, He is pursuing an M.S. degree in PEAS Research Group at Kansas State University. Zhen joined the PEAS Research Group in October of 2018. His interests are in grid modernization and renewable energy.

Dalton Hahn

Dalton Hahn was born in Topeka, KS in 1996. He started at Kansas State University in 2014 and will complete his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Kansas State University in May 2018. He joined PEAS Research Group in Fall 2017. He plans to continue his education for a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kansas starting Fall 2018. His interests include cyber security, privacy, and cyber physical systems.

Zac Stower

Zac Stower was born in Gladstone, MO in 1997. He will receive his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Dec 2018 at Kansas State University, after which, he will work toward his M.Sc. degree at Kansas State University starting Jan 2019. Zac joined PEAS Research Group in Aug 2018. His research interests are power electronics and grid adaptation for alternative energy.
